We emerge

From the long tunnel
As the sun begins
To reveal the golden valley
Covered in December snow.

We turn onto the scenic ledge
And survey the cliffwalls
Veiled by white curtains
Of frozen water falls.

In this pristine place
It is easy to believe
We have come back
To the very beginning.
